On Saturday, October 25th 2025, @familytiesworkshop hosted UDUAK, a photo exhibition and screening directed by David Okpo (@luvliquii). UDUAK is a visual exploration of the emotional turbulence that comes with becoming a young adult in a fast-moving, hyper-social world. Set across three symbolic environments, the campaign captures the struggle for clarity and acceptance within oneself and in relation to others. In conversation with journalist Angel Agbontaen (@mp3girl000), Okpo reflects on how his aunt’s story inspired his directorial debut, the emotional weight of translating memory into motion, and the process of designing wearable art that embodies the project’s spirit.
